Not a very good service provided. Do not respond to emails very quickly and you have to keep chasing them. Waited and waited and they haven’t responded or kept me updated in 8 days - no explanation given.

Some time has passed and I now feel comfortable posting a review. As first time renters we didn’t know what to expect but the whole process did not feel right and we got a lucky escape, having now experienced a different agent. I found Sam to be a bully and manipulative. Simone was lovely but clearly Sam had the final say. They wanted my children’s full names, first initial and surname was not adequate for them, which would be kept with their age and new address on file. They could not provide an up to date data protection policy. They could not state who this information would be passed on to. No one is crb checked in the office. I was not comfortable with this and the information commissioner’s office agreed this was not right and should not be part of the contact. Sam threatened saying we would be pulling out of the contract and would loose our deposit if I did not provide my children’s first names. Feeling pressured I regrettably gave this information. Within 24 hours park and bailey pulled out of the deal because of an ongoing heating issue, refusing to say when this might be fixed and could move in. I suspect this issue was the real reason they did not have the contracts ready and why they were dragging their feet, I believe they were lying when they said they needed to speak to the landlord about my children’s first names. What landlord is going to want the first names of young children? They were beginning to stop using email to respond and suddenly would only respond on the phone. Difficult at the time as we had been given a move in date and had sold our house but thankfully a lucky escape in the end. Thank you for your response- I suggest you change your “requirements” to make them law abiding and inline with ICO recommendations which is advertised on your website. Have you included updating your data protection policy to add a specific sentence about minors personal details? I would be interested to know if you have a protection for these children through your hiring process as it is a “requirement”. Do you have up to date criminal record check all employees? Or is it quite possible that you could be giving personal information of children to a predator?

In December 2020 we found our dream property in Warlingham via Park & Bailey. The survey indicated several issues which required further investigation including a further report from a structural engineer. The agent requested a copy of the original survey which I agreed to but gave the clear instruction not to share the report with anyone. In March 2021 with just one week to go before exchange of contracts the vendor informed us that she was no longer selling to us. The agent then informed us that the vendor was running another contract. I asked for confirmation that our original survey had not been provided to the vendor. They said it had been sent it to the vendor but had been done so “in error” because the vendor shared the same first name as one of their staff . A truly awful experience.

Only felt able to leave this response after some time had elapsed. I would never work with this particular office again. They target you with friendly patter and over price your property so much so that you discard all other agents' prices because you believe them when they say they can achieve this figure for you. Well it's all poppycock!! This is merely a tatic to lure you in. For many months we had less than a handful of viewings with little to no contact from Park & Bailey. When questioned that perhaps we should lower the price, my initial thought was this is the price they recommended!! After a long period of time we sort another agent who not only was they able to sell our home, they found our dream home all within the space of a few weeks. They did exactly what they promised. I do not know about other establishments of Park and Bailey but this particular office needs to buck up their ideas. I don't wish to say that their persona isn't nice, they seem friendly, it's their work ethic that needs a stern kick up the backside.

Very disappointed. arranged to view a house, travelled over an hour each way and only to find no one there to open the door for us. Called the manager of that agent who promised to look into. No reply at all and still waiting for an apology for wasting our time!
