First Time Buyers
Winterbrook were brilliant in dealing with our first time purchase. Daisy did a great job in keeping the pressure on towards the end to get things through as quickly as possible, and was always on the end of the phone to answer any queries throughout the process. We'd highly recommend Winterbrook Estates.

Professional, honest, knowledgable and friendly.
Julian, the proprietor of Winterbrook Estate Agents, has just overseen both the sale of our house and the purchase of a new property. We engaged him to carry out our sale because we knew that he was the most experienced agent in the area, the person who would understand the nuances of the local market better than anyone else. Co-incidentally he was also responsible for the sale of the house we were buying. From the start he was friendly and extremely professional regarding both the sale and purchase. He set what we thought was the correct value for our property and immediately commenced full marketing including open days. Purchasers were found within a week. Our offer had already been accepted on the house we were buying so the situation appeared straightforward. However, issues arose with the chain below us which were very frustrating. The delicate timeline of the chain thatwe were in meant that compromises were required to keep it intact. Throughout the process, Julian and his colleagues offered very wise advice and helped keep the transactions on track. We would strongly recommend Winterbrook Estate Agents to anyone thinking of moving house in South Oxfordshire.

Friendly & professional service
I recently purchased a property via Lesters and was consistently impressed by the warm and friendly approach of all the staff that I had contact with. It was quite a lengthy process because of issues further up the chain (no fault on Lesters' part) however I always appreciated the regular phone calls that I received with updates on any progress being made. Also, when I myself encountered some difficulties because of mistakes made by my Mortgage Broker I found all the staff at Lesters to be extremely patient and understanding until these issues were resolved. I really valued this as it made what was a very stressful and anxiety provoking situation much more bearable. Overall I have been extremely satisfied with the service provided by Lesters, most notably by Julian who managed the purchase, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone in need of an agent in the Wallingford area.

Excellent, personable and professional Estate Agent - highly recommended
Just moved in to our new home in Ewelme. We found Lesters an excellent Estate Agent! There was constant communication throughout the whole buying process, which was very much needed considering how stressful moving is. It was mainly Julian that we dealt with, but we found the whole team highly approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. We can't think of anything which Lesters could have done more to improve our experience with them. We would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone. Pete and Anna

Buying in Blewbury
I found Lesters to be friendly and helpful all the way through what was an unnecessarily complicated and frustrating process due to a poor quality and unhelpful survey / surveyor. If not for Lesters continued support through the process i would have given up on the purchase. Lesters helped mediate a solution that got me the information i needed to make a decison and i am happy with the outcome.

Superb service
All the staff at Lesters have been incredibly efficient and responsive throughout the entire process. Julian dealt with difficulties as they arose and avoided protracted delays by mediating, keeping the rest of the staff informed so I was able to communicate with anyone at the office aat any time. I would unconditionally recommend Lesters as agent of choice.

Excellent service throughout a long and difficult house sale
I would like to thank Lesters for the excellent service they gave me when selling my mother's house. It was a long and difficult sale with two buyers pulling out at the last moment because of difficulties with insurance. Lesters took over from another estate agent after the first buyer pulled out and their representative Richard Lee from the Wallingford office worked steadily and patiently reassuring buyers about the quality of the house. When the second sale fell through he immediately contacted another couple who then went on to successfully complete the purchase. Everyone at Lesters have always responded quickly to any problems by email or phone and I would thoroughly recommend them as an efficient and caring estate agent.

Excellent communication in a long & difficult purchase
We've bought and sold over 25 properties and this was one of the most difficult. Lesters always kept us well informed and Julian went out of his way to help sort the many problems. For months the sellers and their solicitors seemed to only focus on their own purchase leaving us with little information. Then suddenly everything was supposed to happen quickly! Julian did a good job managing the 4 month process.

Would definitely recommend to anyone selling their house.
I have moved house seven times and I can honestly say that Lesters are the best estate agent I have used. The members of staff conducting the viewings were all friendly yet professional. From accepting an offer through to exchange of contracts they definitely went over and above any service I have previously received. I would definitely recommend them and can't thank them enough for the service they provided.

Excellent Service, responsive to queries and supportive to drive sale forward
Our experience was that Lesters (in particular Richard Lee) were responsive in the negotiation process; they reassured us they would not show other potential buyers around the property once offer had been accepted. They supported exchange process by keeping dialogue open with seller throughout a painful query process and dropped keys and flowers around on completion. They also didn't waste our time with lots of upsell services. This local friendly, and supportive approach was very much appreciated. When we sell, we will be using Lesters.
