Having lived in our house for over 20 years, we were reluctant sellers and nervous about dealing with Estate Agents. I had meetings with several leading agents in Uxbridge, and Clive Edwards (the manager) stood head & shoulders above the others. There were no attempts to 'hard sell', just simple advice on the how the whole process would work and realistic expectations set. Once we agreed the terms, Cameron had the photography set up and adverts live on Zoopla & Right Move and we were surprised to get viewing within our first week. Even better, buyers were properly qualified, so we knew we were not dealing with time wasters. We received our first few offers within the first month, and after about 6 weeks we had accepted an offer with a buyer. The next part of the process was the only troublesome part, in that the house we were moving to was delayed by probate. Clive did an amazing job keeping our buyer informed and waiting, whilst we ourselves waited. It is testament to Clive that the buyer waited the 30 weeks that it finally took to obtain probate and moving to the final stage of the sale process. In the last few weeks, Clive kept us regularly updated between the various parties in our chain. We finally completed recently and Clive came round personally to see us as we vacated the home that we had cherished for over two decades. The key things that we valued most about Clive and Cameron as an agency overall is great communication, not 'over selling' and good old fashioned local community based values.
