We just completed on a house in Cambridge. The process was made more complicated by the fact that we did not live at the property, so Mark Abbott managed everything while we were remote. It was all smooth, Mark and his colleagues were really responsive and reassuring (previous sale had fallen through), and definitely went above and beyond what I would have expected in normal circumstances. I would definitely recommend going through this agency. Only note is that the initial valuation was about 10% higher than the achieved price. The valuation was aligned with two other agencies, so it might not have been something specific to Cooke C&C (maybe just a general tactic) but it did lead to some disappointment, and almost letting go of an offer whilst waiting for one that was more aligned with the valuation, which was maybe misleading.

I recently used Cooke Curtis to sell a house in Cambridge. The process was complicated by litigation from beneficiaries of the estate plus the buyer raising a number of issues. Cooke Curtis’ Sales Progressor, Sarah, was tireless in diplomatically chasing the sale through while supporting me through a long and trying time. The previous 7 buyers (under 3 previous estate agents) had dropped out and I don’t think I would have made at to the finish without Sarah.

Just had our house sold by C&C. They are the most efficient estate agent and the easiest to work with . Although a couple of staff is less than satisfactory but the majority of the team is fantastic . Definitely the best in Cambridge in my opinion.

Our lettings agent was Millie who has been brilliant, always super helpful and very prompt to respond whenever we had any questions, and she even gave us some free coffee on our move-in day. They were also very honest on the inventory form which was refreshing to see, and were able to sort an electrician asap to fix some issues with our lights. Would highly recommend and will be looking to use Cooke Curtis & Co next time I'm looking for a new rental property.

They have been consistent, supportive, and obvious experts in their field.
