I would like to clarify that, in this case, Cooke Curtis & Co acted solely as the letting agent on a "let-only" basis, which means we were not instructed to manage the tenancy after the move-in. As such, we did not have the authority to oversee the landlord’s actions or intervene in the management of the property. That said, we do always aim to provide guidance and assistance to tenants where possible, even in non-managed tenancies. I understand you contacted us during your tenancy, and we offered advice and support regarding the concerns raised, including guidance around the checkout and deposit return process.
