Sorry that your landlord asked for his property back as he needed to sell it, I don't think it is our fault and we did try to help you all we could. I guess that is the trouble with review sites.

The decision to use lawsons to source and manage my rental ultimately cost me over 12k to put right the damage caused by the tenants whom they recommended. Lawsons continued to show they did not understand the terms in the contract and did not try to enforce them, with the tenants routinely drilling into walls damaging walls plus extremely bad hygiene not cleaning toilet to the point where the strongest acid couldn't save them, stubbing cigarettes on my upvc window frames, smoking heavily in the house despite saying they were non smokers, drilling holes above light switch damaging embedded cables, forcing access into the loft and damaging ceilings. I requested lawsons to do a section 21 of which matt lawson outright refused saying the government is cracking down on it. At which point after many heated arguments with their management team, I got rid of them as managers and after the covid craziness finally evicted them from the property. How does an inspection team not see 60+ holes drilled into walls with 8mm wall plugs for photos! And much bigger ones fixing tvs to walls.. can lawson show where they gave permission for this and why they didn't pick it up I their inspections. Some feed back to me commenting on their poor painting was that their tenants often like to paint... despite the contract stating written permission was required, they did not show me this permission or seek my approval. And I had to lead the complaints with lawson beig reactive rather than active managers. Note all this damage had already occurred during their management phase. Result was both bathrooms needed to be replaced, many rooms reskimmed on top of many other damaged ceiling replaced. It took 2 cleaners 3 days to clean the property their invoice states that it was the longest exit clean they've ever done. Ultimately tenants did a runner did not turn up to final inspection, it took me 6 months to track them down via their parents to get the full deposit back from the dps and I'm now looking at court action to recover the rest. Which I've never done in 15 years of renting it. To say I'm disappointed with lawsons management is an understatement. Note I have all the pictures and evidence to back up my above statements. To me it was a waste of money and extremely stressful time. Had they been a big company I would have had a further complaint process at the time, but they are a law to their own.

The worst estate agents imaginable for renting. If you like a company who charges you for the little things possible, lies to you from the beginning, plan ignores you, has a contractor who will not hesitate to make someone cry and is just all round awful at their jobs look no further. A joke of a company who try to soak you dry of every penny you have. The letting manager is a joke of a women and I don’t understand how she can sleep at night ripping me and my partner off the way she did. I am sorry you feel that way Nicholas, there are always two sides to every story and I'm not going to try and work out our differences on Google. I assume from your review you won't want to use us again, well that's probably for the best as I don't think I would be able to recommend you as a suitable tenant to any or our landlords anyway.

I am disgusted and discouraged from visiting thi9s agency. I made an appointment for the first time in order to obtain information about the possibility of buying my first house. I needed information about the purchase costs, calculations on what mortage I can count on with my wife and son. In general, any information on the possibility of buying a possible home. I made an appointment with a person I thought competent in these matters. Mr. Mortgage Advisor ,sent me an email asking me to bring back the payslips from the last 3 months and just enough information. During the visit, after verifying payslip and where, for how long and at what positions we were working, we were asked a question about expenses. After the information that we have, a franchise for a car, a loan from a bank, we pay off the rent for the rent and maintenance of the house, and the amount, Mr. Advisor asked us for how long we will be, or rather I will pay back. I was not prepared for this question, give exactly how much time and what amounts of repayments. I was not asked for this information in the email received. I looked for this information on my credit report which I was able to view on my phone. Mr. Advisor asked if we had a minimum deposit of 5% or 10%. After my wife's information that we do not know what the cost of buying a house will be, because we do not know what we will be able to afford, whether 10,000 will be enough, the question is asked, how much does my son have savings, and we cannot take any mortage on us 3 person only on each other because we are married, the son will probably get married and leave the house . The fact that we repay everything on time, our creditworthiness is at a good or even very good level, that banks grant loans for up to 4 people, as it is at Barclays Bank, to buy a house, it did not do anything anymore. Mr. Super Advisor said, or rather us disqualified as potential buyers. I don't know if he didn't like our people or our origin, or if he wanted to finish the work quickly because it's Saturday. These are our feelings after talking to this Agent. So we were quickly cured of wanting to buy our first home with the help of the Lawsons Thetford Agency. And I just wanted to ask about the possibility and possible costs, and help in buying my first house.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

From our experience, I do not believe they are interested in improvement. As landlords on full management we have been charged countless times for call outs at £60 a time. Then instruct heavily overpriced contractors. An on going £60 a month for pest control in a country property.... because the tenant sees rats outside. Needless to say we no longer use them. A Kate had a series of conversations with myself, then a Katrina takes over and is clueless to what has been prior agreed prior...... I could go on. But I’m happy to just say enough is enough and we unfortunately can not recommend this company.
