I found my move out of rented accommodation with Richard James nothing but stressful, upsetting and difficult. There were no COVID precautions put in place for viewings that I was aware of, so I felt pressured into allowing people into the house I was living in whilst also trying to keep my 5 month old daughter safe. Then once we had moved out we were still recieveing phone calls regarding viewings showing a lack of communication between staff. A week after moving out I was then appalled with the phone call I recieved from the move out inspector who had the cheek to tell me the house “needed a good clean” and it would cost £170 of our depsit to get a cleaner in!!! However when asked to see pictures of the areas that needed cleaning I received nothing. Days of constantly having to contact them to ask for pictures and to get an update on what was happening and whilst being constantly lied to we finally had the full deposit back. If renting with Richard James I would highly recommend taking your own photos when you move in and when you move out to prevent them trying to steal your money like they did mine!
