In February Georgia at Richard James contacted me to advise they had someone interested in our type of property and would we be interested in relisting. This came of the back of a couple of previous attempts of selling our property but for whatever reason was unable to do so. The people that viewed our house put an offer straight after viewing it and we accepted. We then went into the market looking for a property to purchase. Mark Stacey is the branch manager and i remember dealing with Mark previously. Mark assisted and supported where he could - we didnt take long to find a property and eventually had offer accepted in March. Three days before simultaneous echange and completion, our seller pulled out. We have since found a rental so we can proceed with selling our property. I felt i had to highlight some rather excellent service i've received from Mark. Mark has single handedly dealt with our sale and has been a real shining light in what has been a stressful few months for my family and i. Mark has constantly sent me details about prospective properties RJ will be marketing, he's always been on the end of a phone even if it was just a chat about how we were felling, he was checking in on us and that's what sets him apart from most. He cares about his clients, i cant stress that enough. Mark has, just as an example, spoken to me at 7pm on a Saturday night and also most week nights aswell, outside of his normal working hours, because he cares. He's made me feel like he cant do enough for me, and this was highlighted by Mark doing something that was innovative and original which really impressed on me how much he values his customers. Mark decided that he would post an instagram story for us on his own instagram and shared with RJ's instagram account. In this story, he told what had happened to us, how it happened and appealed for all of his followers for help in sharing this story. He knows what we are after in terms of our next home and in his video on instagram he appealed directly for people that were selling or were thinking of selling and gave a couple of the criteria we're looking in for our next home. He asked the audience to get in touch if they felt they could help. This was over and above what i would expect of an estate agent. If we buy in next few months, i owe Mark a drink and i would love to be able to celebrate the purchase of a new home with Mark (socially distanced ofcourse). He would have earnt that drink for sure. So if you're thinking about buying or selling a property, get in touch with Mark or any of his wonderful colleagues (Georgia, Allanah, Anthony - all amazing people) and what you'll get is a supreme customer service, constant comms from them and you'll realise you will be valued by RJ. Mark, thank you for all the calls, the messages, the ideas, the support, the care and more importantly thanking you for being there for us when our dream house collpased. Thank you for posting our story on your own instagram trying to get it out there that we need some help, you've been absolutely amazing. You really are an asset to RJ and they should be extremely proud to have you on their books. Lets hope we are celebrating a new purchase in coming months. I cant recommend RJ enough.
