Great work by Martin & his team. Any issues as a landlord ive been kept informed at all time. I would recommend Belvoir as a excellent letting agent .
It's the first time renting property through Belvoir, but we have only good things to say about the staff and the way they deal with customers and manage properties. All staff was really helpful and they communication with us is excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Belvoir have dealt with my property for many years now and offer an excellent service to both me and my tenants. Very helpful and prompt in relaying information and have alway found excellent tenants. Well done to Martyn and his team.
I have used Stratford upon Avon branch from when it started and it must be good as Martin is still there bless him ably helped by Jo and co. so well done all and being it is the season of good cheer have a great one and see you in the New Year in your smart refurbished premises cant wait .
Onboarding process for new rental was good. Poor service levels for dealing with repairs. Waited 8 months for broken door panel to be replaced on outdoor sunroom and still waiting. No minor repairs felt with. Overall poor service leaves.
Just received a flyer for this appalling agency in my letterbox and it brought back the horrific experience we had with them. Based on my experience back in 2020-2022, I strongly advise AGAINST renting or selling through this agency. A Google review isn't long enough to list all the problems but here is a summary: 1) Belvoir omitted to tell us the tenancy we were taking on was only available because the sitting tenants wanted to move out 2 months into their 6 month rental because of an awful neighbour. 2) Belvoir left the majority of check-in inventory blank, despite their job role under the Property Ombudsman. We had to spend hours documenting the damages, cleanliness and decor issues, Belvoir apparently missed. We had to request the damages be addressed rather than Belvoir proactively taking action to sort it themselves. 3) At one point took 5 months and repeated request to fix a broken curtain rail. 4) We suffered a great deal (and needed police support) because of the neighbour. Near the end of the tenancy we discovered the truth about past tenants. I started the complaints process about how they deceived us into taking on this tenancy by omitting past problems with that neighbour. 5) Belvoir repeatedly tried to refuse us attendance at checkout, as was our right. 6) After I followed the complaints process and insisted on a neutral professional to complete the checkout, the manager lost his temper and refused to allow us to contact them, despite the tenancy not yet concluded. I had to turn to the council for help. 7) Belvoir supported the neighbour behind our backs after I started the complaints process. They kept it secret, until after the tenancy ended, that after they met with the neighbour, Belvoir knew he subsequently made a police report reporting me for the abusive behaviour he had most recently directed at us. The very episode I emailed them about the day before. 8) They kept it secret from me, again until after the tenancy ended, that they knew he was installing CCTV. They also kept it from us that he breached GDPR when he shared a photo of me with them. This photo was also evidence that he was recording beyond his property, in contrast with what his tiny signage stated. 9) Belvoir breached GDPR themselves when they revealed the neighbour's full name and email address with us after we made a Subject Access Request. 10) Belvoir then SOLD this property by allowing the neighbour to tell the buyers he was the victim! I doubt they mentioned the tenants who wanted to leave after 2 months because of him or the tenants who apparently had problems with him during lockdown. Spare yourself the unprofessionalism and try another agency!
