AVOID!! Helpful until your're trapped by the contract, the property was in a terrible state and anything that was fixed took A LOT of emails and time and there was still so much wrong with the property that they avoided dealing with until I gave up trying. they're now taking most of our deposits for issues that were there when we moved in/ EXTORTIONATE cleaning prices! also felt pressured to write a good review as soon as we had a viewing of the property so I feel any good review is from people being pressured.

Hi Adam,
Having reviewed your file, and in terms of cleaning, tenants are made aware that they are responsible for the condition of the property at the end of the tenancy, and unfortunately not at the point in which they decide to move out. We use an independent cleaning contractor to assess cleaning & other maintenance costs and those quoted to you would've been based on the level of cleaning required for the property to be ready for the next tenants to move into. Evidence of any cleaning or other issues would also be in the form of photographs and would be detailed within the closing inspection that would've already been sent to you.
Should you remain unhappy with this, your deposit is fully protected with the TDS and you have the right to lodge a case with the TDS. They will decide independently if you should receive more than we have returned to your group. We would be more than happy to submit evidence to support any cleaning / maintenance costs that have been incurred by your landlord, and of course assist you in any way we can to help ensure a suitable outcome is reached.
In terms of issues with the property, I can see that you reported 2 issues to us in 2020, both of which were responded to within 2 days. As neither of these were deemed urgent issues, I believe that we have acted in a very timely manner.
Finally, please let us clarify that we never pressure anyone to leave a review. As you know your previous review was voluntarily completed in your own time.
