The worst estate agent branch and company I've dealt with in my entire life. The staff get confused over the availability of advertised properties, promise to contact you back and never do, tell you that they'll get you in for viewings which never happening - the list goes on. I've used many estate and lettings agents in my life and I can personally say that none have ever come as close to the dreadful experience I've received whilst interacting with Ellis & Co, specifically their Stanmore branch but also their company as a whole. My experience entails the fact they'd listed properties on Zoopla (a third-party) and one of the adverts advised '14 units available'. They appeared of interest and so I immediately sent an email enquiry and further to that completed their eligibility questionnaire. Once I'd done this, I waited to hear back, two days passed and I'd heard nothing so I got in touch. I was advised 'we are very busy and get 200-300 enquiries a day' so I requested a call-back. Never happened so I got back in touch on Friday and they promised another, it never happened. I then called a further 7 times over the next fortnight and was promised 6 call-backs (none ever happened). The different people I spoke to sometimes claimed all the flats had been let, meanwhile others claimed there were some different ones available. The staff were extremely confused and for the simple job of confirming availability, couldn't even get that right.... Appalling experience, I'd discourage all from using the branch. Whilst the staff aren't rude, they fail to really help their customers and used a variety of 'excuses' with me, quoting things like: 'we get 200-300 enquiries a day' to 'we get 50-60 enquiries a day' to 'we are in Stanmore so don't go to the other side of London often' (why take on business there then?) and then various other excuses, rather than apologising for their poor service. To conclude, I happily took my business elsewhere and can safely say I'd avoid any property letting/purchase enquiries going anywhere near this firm. They've let me down and I'm sure I am not the first, just false promises and poor customer service. Nearly three weeks on not even sorted a viewing with them, they also leave adverts online for properties which aren't even available, or maybe they are? You decide....

The most shocking agency I ever dealt with. Awful customer services specially from Mr Howard Star. Lack of professionalism, terrible communication and extremely rude. The only person who you can trust is Rackesh, complete gentleman. What a nice guy.

When you spend more time managing a property manager than you would managing the property there is something wrong. Ellis & Co's management of our property has been appalling. Staff change frequently and there is no continuity. Often we are not even informed when the property manager changes. Problems fall between the cracks and get worse before they are dealt with, creating more cost. Worse still, they take no responsibility whatsoever for their failings and lack of service. The Manager can't even be bothered to arrange a time to call and discuss the problems, delegating to someone else to send a terse and aggressive email effectively burying their head in the sand and refusing to deal with the problem as they are too busy. I would be ashamed to be associated with this company. Find one that cares.

Useless agent. The girl came to value my property and had no clue about lettings. Every question I asked her she said she'd 'have to find out' and then had the audacity to try and charge me extortionate fees. Extremely unprofessional. Have rented my property through another agent for HALF the fee and have a much more professional service. P
