Doreen Rose, the new owner as of 1st May 2021, has turned everything around at Martin and Co. Staines! I’ve been renting through this location for over a year and felt largely ignored by the estate agents before her management. Previously, communication was difficult and non-responsive, maintenance requests were ignored or getting them actioned required constant prodding on my part, and I was at one time without a boiler and hot water for more than two weeks. The previous management did not care. Doreen’s management has changed ALL of this! She stays in contact and keeps communication open, clear, and timely. Maintenance requests are acknowledged within an hour and she follows up by the end of the day to ensure I am informed with what actions are being taken. I now feel valued as a tenant! New management has changed everything!

I’ve been renting for Martin and Co. for over a year now. Prior to May 2021, communicating and working with the estate agents was a real challenge with emergency maintenance needs being unresolved for weeks, no communication, no follow up, having to send emails and make calls frequently in hopes of getting a reply, and lack of documentation. However, Doreen Rose took over ownership and management on 1st May 2021 and things have improved 100%! Communication is consistent, clear, and timely. Maintenance requests are acknowledged usually within an hour, and follow up/informative emails are sent by the end of the business day. Doreen obviously cares about giving her clients exceptional service and has been very conscientious and attentive, making me feel — for the first time — valued as a tenant. I’m now exceptionally happy to be renting through Martin and Co.!

Hannah was very thorough with her research of the local sales market and made the selling process easy helping us to ultimately sell our flat. She worked hard chasing solicitors etc to help us complete on time. Price was reasonable as well.

I have been a landlord with Martin & Co for several years now and have always been happy with the fully managed service they provide. Recently I have dealt with Dan who helped me understand a plumbing issue and made me feel totally confident that the contractor he recommended wouldn't over charge and the work would be thoroughly checked over before the work was paid for. I was surprised that any estate agent would have this kind of maintenance knowledge and since found out he was previously a contractor himself. Dan, Lynn and in the past Skye and Maria are a credit to the office and I'd recommend them to anyone.
