Appalling customer service, rude staff, the manager Julie is even ruder. There are scores of estate agents in Stafford, don`t use this one!

Money Money Money Obsessed!!! If you are looking to rent from this organization then stay clear. They have left me feeling Depressed, Frustrated and very upset. After 2 years being a customer renting a home in Stafford for myself and my son who always paid on time even through Covid when I lost my employment I still managed to pay the rent and bills etc. All the visits they do and supposed to come every few months to check on the property always had positive feedback saying the house is being well looked after etc etc. WHEN YOU MOVE OUT. * Will try to keep your deposit money * Manager sends harsh emails * They seem to loose records of works people who attend the property for inspections or call outs etc. * Poor communication, you will constantly be sending emails or calling to get updates. * Once you have cleaned the property to how it was when you moved in they will say its not good enough and employ cleaners without your authorization to do so. I have many videos and pictures of how the property looks when I left it and I am more than happy with the standard and condition more than satisfactory. Actually an improvement to when I moved in. Manager sent me an email today being very abrupt and not even giving me a simple answer to one of my questions. My Question: I would like to know how many hours you are paying for the cleaner to clean just the bathroom. Managers answer: The cleaner will take as long as it takes! This is after I had taken 1 day off work to go to the property to clean and the bathroom was very clean. Think the landlady is trying to sell the property and just trying to keep as much money as she can. Trust me guys stay well clear, I am a decent human being who works hard and always pays my way through life. I would not be writing this if I feel I have someway left the property in a poor state, I have not and for that reason I am letting you guys know.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Money money money obsessed

Avoid at all costs, they will be pleasant and helpful at first to get your money then once it’s time to move out they will rip you off. Money obsessed and unprofessional can’t even keep accurate records of works and inspections from gas engineers or plumbers.Was with them 2 years renting, they had no problems whatsoever with me, paid on time every month, looked after property, had inspections from them every 6 months well sometimes.They had no issues always said house was very well looked after.Come to moving out and they will do there best to keep your deposit.Poor excuses, poor management, manager sending unprofessional messages with no compassion at all.Just really shocking service, I’m a very reasonable human being but with these they have left me feeling frustrated and depressed.Stay well clear definitely the worst agents I have ever dealt with.

AVOID martin & co!! 2.5yrs I've lived in this property, been waiting for a council property for around 1.5 years, offered somewhere and I asked if they could deduct the remaining rent from deposit for them to send a reference off (made me pay £20 for) to the housing association that offered the 3 bed home to me as I'm overcrowded with me, 2 boys and my daughter in this 2 bedroom saying I owe the money and they wont deduct from out deposit we have with them. We paid to have brand new carpet put down in the living room costing around £240 as it was chipped laminate. Reported 7 repairs 8months ago, roof leaking/boiler leaking being 2 of them but nothing. So I paid £20 for a 'bad' reference so I have now lost the property I was offered for me and my 3 children. The house is in brilliant condition, I've always looked after my homes I've lived in, I'm absolutely livid with them!

Reference requests differ from company to company and so I am happy to look into the information provided in your case, however we can only answer the questions asked honestly. When a request is made to pay rent or arrears from a deposit, it is completely at each landlords discretion and usually they do not allow this as of course it does not provide any cover for any potential dilapidations. Absolutely disgusting service. I wanted to view 5 properties on a Saturday afternoon, understandabley they could not fit them all in so I requested we fit as many as possible in the time I requested. I had a voicemail when I was at work so called back on my break to be told there was no bookings left on Saturday!! Molly was rude and hung up on me after saying “I don’t like your tone” and Sophie was more interested in how convenient it is for them to do viewings than trying to fit around us. Clearly they don’t want to let their properties out. No communication happens in this office either as apparently if you ask to book a time, someone else can book the same time for somebody who requested it after you. Also did not get put through to a manager when I requested one
