Personally, I find efficient, family-run businesses like this which demonstrably have the customer's interests at the core of all they do pretty thin on the ground these days. We have recently purchased a property through Martin and Co St Albans. Will Lau was excellent - he understood what we wanted and didn't waste our time trying to force us to view things that weren't right for us (unlike a few other estate agents in the area who seem to send over anything and everything!). The whole team were really nice and helpful - we did a couple of viewings of the property after we had put the offer in, and they were always very accommodating and patient. Great team, can't fault them. We have purchased a lovely flat, and when we do eventually want to sell, we will certainly be going through Martin & Co.

I had a 3 year tenancy with Martin&Co and can only say the best about the agency. Professional, efficient and responsive yet they offer a personal service. It's a shame tenants don't get to pick the agency as I would have made my choice. Highly recommended.

We rented our first home in St Albans through Martin & Co and then chose to go against the flow and sell our home through them as we had received such great service. Richard, Merril and Will are honest, straight talking and always do what they say they will do. Our house was sold within 2 weeks of going on the market, for the asking price. Our experience with some of the big estate agents in St Albans has been very poor by comparison. We strongly recommend giving Martin & Co the opportunity to sell your home.
