Okay, so get this: I recently signed up for a nectar card; and at the same time I downloaded the smart shop app. Before my physical nectar card arrived, I was able to link my electronic version to my smart shop app. Today we went and tried it out, and it made shopping so much easier (a real breeze, if you catch my meaning). I scanned items on my phone and popped them in bags as we went around, and then just sent my total to the self-service checkout at the end and paid... No need to swipe my nectar card because the points had already been awarded! Plus, in this particular Sainsbury's, there's a really good selection of halal meats, and all for a reasonable price too. I was in heaven on this trip!
