Initially the price quoted was shockingly high but we were assured that the service we would receive would be worth it....and they were right. We felt supported and informed throughout the whole process. Special mention for Marie for keeping us calm when it went wrong and for Tom for making us laugh when we needed a chuckle. Our buyer admitted that they decided to buy the property from the photographs alone.

I would certainly recommend Balgores Estate Agents in South Woodham Ferrers. Moving house during the COVID restrictions has been a challenge. My house went on the market January 2020 with a different agent and response was very poor. July 2020 I switched to Balgores and the viewings just kept coming, resulting in offers and and an agreed sale within 2 weeks. The progression service was also very good. Marie has always been extremely helpful during the all phases of the sale from initial contact to marketing of the house and then final sale of the property. In all of this she has kept me fully informed and always endeavoured to progress the sale for both buyer and seller to ensure the process went as smoothly as possible. In all the dealings I have had with Marie she has always been very professional and cheerful making me feel as a valued customer not just a number on a spread sheet. When ever I have had contact with the any branch staff member they have always delivered as promised and kept me up to date on all aspects of the sale with good advice on how to best market the property. Without hesitation I believe that I have received good value for the fees spent and would recommend them as by far the best local estate agents dealing with property in the area. The fees are steeper than other agents in the town. the difference is that Balgores have been prepared to work for the money and as such they have been good value for the money.

Unprofessional- overall bad service as a buyer

Called twice to view a property, rude and short on the phone when trying to obtain basic information about the lease and charges etc, was told I would receive a call with regards to a viewing, was never even phoned, called back to ask again and was told someone would get back to me but no one did, overall substandard service and wouldn't reccomended. What it looks like was happening was they was keeping the place back for a specific person and not letting anyone else get a look in possibly for a little drink or something to a local investor or developer. Won't be using as my agents for as long as I live in swf, will stick with church and hawes

Really disappointed with the person that came out from balgores. Had an attitude and decided to value my property to sell rather then what it was worth, I then see that they have recently put a property up around the corner for 50k more than what they said mine was worth. Exactly the same layout..... go figure?!! On her leaving words to my property the person ,said "good luck and if you actually want to sell your house give us a call"......the arrogance of that comment. I wouldn't recommend.
