A different (better) type of letting agent

We dealt with Carl and his team at the Meriden office, and I can honestly say it is the best experience with a letting agent I have had (having had 5 previous, different agents). Firstly, when we got in touch Carl assured us that H2L do not operate a first-come first-served policy when it comes to letting out properties, and that they are keen to pair the right landlord with the right tenant. When we undertook the viewing, this became very apparent as we were allocated a large time slot to see the property, and we did not feel in the least bit rushed. Previous experiences elsewhere have been short and sharp, followed by a quick “let me know when you want to make an application”, however here, we were afforded time and space to consider our decision properly. The other thing I liked about Carl and how H2L operated initially was that he was perfectly up front with target move in dates, fees and other considerations. As a result, when we did move in, we felt confident we could express some of the forces working on us, and between ourselves and the landlord, with H2L facilitating were able to come to a very amicable agreement for all parties. Following that, the application process was transparent, quick and very easy. On our move in date, due to some technical issues, our paperwork was delayed in being produced, however Carl bent over backwards to ensure we got our keys on time, and met us at the property out of hours to ensure we had the keys when he had committed to. This shows excellent dedication and commitment to customer service. Overall, I cannot really fault our experiences working with H2L to date. The communication and desire to do a good job has been very welcome, and we look forward to a long and happy time in our property!
