I’ve left this review to the end of my tenancy (March 2023 to March 2024) so I could give a complete review of Martin & Co. Slough. Initial contact was with Harpreet. Professional. Very polite, and prompt. Came across as someone who loves his job and cared about helping people. Very refreshing and impressive. 5 stars. Flat viewing went really well, with Callum arriving on time and showing me around the very well presented flat. 5 stars. Check in was carried out by Chris (from Inventory Elephant). Very professional, transparent check in service that gave me time to verify the check in report and dispute any areas I did not agree with. 5 stars Tenancy - repairs to a broken shower took a bit too long to fix (due to unavailability of the regular plumber). This could have been dealt with better. As it took about 6 weeks and repeated emails to get the issue sorted). 2 stars Repairs to faulty lighting were carried out very quickly. An electrician was sent round to assess the issue and repairs were carried out in the same week the issue was reported. 5 stars Ending of Tenancy: Contract suggested I would be informed of renewal arrangements 3 months in advance but this happened about 1.5 months which gave me little time to make alternative arrangements (human error?) - 3 stars Check out service was done by Chris (from Inventory Elephant). Again, 5 stars. The check out report was clear and compared the check in with the check out. No issues were found (apart from fair wear and tear for a 1 year tenancy) as I deep-cleaned the property prior to hand over. My deposit was returned in full. Overall, I’ve had a good experience with Martin & Co Slough, and I would recommend/use their services in future.
