Hello, very disappointed with this estate agency as they promised me a free house valution and at the end trying to charge me £100 + VAT for the service which clearly advertise as FREE on their website with no obligations. So long story short. Been going through divorce proceedings (as this is stressful as it is) and been told by solicitors that I need a house valution to progress to a next stage. Got in touch with Ewe Move Sheffield branch and asked for house valution which would be used for my divorce proceedings and when this matter would be over I said I would actually be considering to sell the property. They were happy to forward this to estate agent so valuation date and time would be agreed. So Ewe Move agent (Shaz) got back to me and said he will be more than happy to generate house valution report for me. The only thing I had to do its make a video of property layout and forward it to same number he was calling from on whatsapp and thats what I did. As far as I understood no in person valuation is needed as he can do it from the house layout video. He promised to generate report at next working day. However this wasn't a case. I did not receive any house valuation report next day or day after or following day. Before I get back in touch with estate agency about report, I checked whatsapp and notice the video I forwarded was not even checked by anyone. So send an email over to estate agency to double check if someone can advice me when valuation report is going to be ready as at this point I was running out of time and really had to forward house valuation report back to my solicitors. After coming back to me estate agent Shaz told me that I have to pay £100 + VAT if I want to receive a report which supposed to be free (atleast thats what estate agency website advertise it as and this was the first time I been told that it's not free of charge) which was very upsetting suprise. I would rate this estate agency zero out of five but this is not possible so they should be happy to receive one star review as its already to much what they deserve after my expierence with them. I would highly advice AVOID this agency if you are looking for someone following on their promises and keeping with the dates they are saying things will be done, nevermind that they try to charge you for services which should be free of charge according to their website.
