Whitegates in Crewe were wonderful. They helped me see multiple properties within the area, some a bit further out than central Crewe. They understood that I was going down the road of buying to let, so they didn't show me any brand-new or overpriced properties. After this original property is repaired, I'll use Whitegates to manage it to save me from travelling up from London each time. While some investors think that you'll save money using multiple routes such as separate builders and electricians, it's a lot of hassle that directs a lot of time that could be better used towards saving money and focusing on a new property and getting another one or investing, I believe. I cannot wait to have my first tenant within this property and hope that Whitegates check them beforehand to make sure they are relevant and will not move out instantly / damage it / have dangerous pets or not work and have no money. Fingers crossed. Now is getting the builder/damp and timber/insurance and all the fun things of having a property sorted before moving the tenant in. 🙏

I recently bought a property through Whitegates which completed last week. Sarah was brilliant from beginning to end, keeping in touch and helping move the process along.

From the very first phone call to Whitegates (Crewe) to selling our property, their service has been outstanding. Emma Sutton (Valuation & Marketing Consultant) first met with me at the property to be sold. She arrived prompt at a convenient prearranged time (unlike another estate agent who arrived late) and was friendly yet professional. Emma was genuinely interested and enthusiastic, though not ‘pushy’, to sell the property. She took time to discuss how she would approach the sale and provided me with evidence of previous similar sales in the area, explaining how she had valued the property. (Emma had clearly done her homework prior to our meeting.) Within minutes of our meeting ending, Emma had emailed me with a Market Appraisal letter and ongoing contact details. I consulted two other estate agents before making my decision to proceed with Whitegates. I chose Whitegates for their friendly approach, professionalism, locality, promptness, attitude, property valuation and yes, cost which was very reasonable. Going forward with Whitegates has been so straightforward. Arranging for photographs of the property and advertising through main channels such as Rightmove and also organizing the required Energy Performance Certificate has been effortless. Property viewings were arranged and conducted by their team, saving me time and effort. I received text messages when the viewings were going to take place and feedback from Kieran (Cooney) on what prospective buyers thought about the property. Kieran would leave voicemails if unable to contact me and was instrumental in facilitating and negotiating the sale of the property, which took only five weeks.
