I would never rent from this company again. Deceitful and unprofessional. I would recommend taking plenty of photos when you move out because this company will lie and try to take your deposit.

My experience with Ewe Move (Lettings) has unfortunately left a sour taste in my mouth for ever renting future properties again. When issues were raised, it took an unnessacery amount of time to be resolved (6+ months on some occasions). Some were never fixed in the 2 years we were at the property. It seemed unless it benefitted them in some way, we would always struggle to get quick responses. The offices are always closed, you never get through to the right person and have to put in so much effort to get anything done. Wouldnt reccomend 🙂

We appreciate your feedback, we always strive for the best in Customer Service. It's our aim to keep our clients happy. We understand you were a valued tenant customer for some time. We do find this review a little unfair as its a little out of our control as the letting agency, when damage is made to a property. We have to act on behalf of both parties. This is yourself and the Landlord. We unfortunately had many complaints from the management company regarding the noise from you a s a tenant, and Health and safety issues, regarding the sofa you had left in the corridor. Both of which are issues completely out of our hands. Unfortunately when a landlord gets a property back and notices that you had damaged the kitchen cabinets and left markings all over the walls, he has to repair this for the next tenant. All we ask is you leave the property as you found it. This unfortunately cost over £2300. This is what the Government scheme (The Tenancy Deposit Scheme) is for, and if you feel it unfair, it can be taken further with the government. This is put in place to protect you both and again is nothing to do with us as the agency. Also, we are always closed on a Sunday. Its a real shame that this review has ended up on our Google page, when in fact it was an issue with the landlord and yourself. If you would like to give me a call, I would appreciate the opportunity to chat this through with you. Kind regards, Malcolm White

I have phoned the 2 offices 4 times this week about my concerns on not receiving my rent. Only to be told there is no one available at the present and some one will get back to me but they never do. Not impressed. Tony Gooch.

Judging by the other reviews, Ewemove clearly put all of their effort into sales which takes away from lettings/tenants. Having just ended a 2.5yr tenancy with Ewemove Salisbury (formerly Martin & Co), unfortunately almost every interaction, which I kept to a minimum, required more effort than necessary even when it was a simple task. The 1 star may seem harsh but this has stemmed from the most serious and frustrating of the incidents with these letting agents - they left my flat unlocked. Following an inspection which took place when I was away, the flat was left unlocked by the agent (voiding my insurance should something have happened) and as I was away, it remained unlocked for several days. Sadly there were numerous instances where simple requests or tasks required multiple chasing emails, visits to the shop, and generally took far longer than it should have. I could list several but this review is already long enough. I will leave you with the most recent - I gave Ewemove 4 weeks notice of my leaving, as required, and they did not organise the checkout process until 3 days before my move-out date, despite several chasing emails. It was finally sorted as I attended the shop and cornered them into doing something! They then proceeded to send the landlord a 47 page document detailing 'issues' regarding amount of deposit to return, which thankfully my landlord disagreed with, and overruled to return it in full. It then took Ewemove 2 weeks to process the return of my deposit, despite (again) several chasing emails as the significant amount of money was needed for the next property, but they didn't seem to really care! Both my (ex-)landlord and I are glad to see the back of Ewemove, unfortunately I think they are understaffed in Salisbury and/or 'neglect' lettings/tenants even though it's a whole section of the business. It's a shame!

We appreciate your feedback, we always strive for the best in Customer Service. It’s our aim to keep our clients happy. We understand you are a valued tenant customer of over 2 years. Our records for this incident show the entry to the property that you referred to was a non employee who failed to close the door fully. This of course falls well short of our standards and after investigation was a failure in a home visit check list from a third party company, and not a true reflection of our standards, even thought we take full responsibility. We apologise for any inconvenience with the breakdown in our procedures on this occasion. Unfortunately when a landlord decides to sell a property it’s out of our control. We understand this can be unsettling and distressing for tenants who may wish to stay in a property longer. The dynamics of our job is trying to keep our landlords and our tenants happy depending on availability of properties suiting both parties. On some occasions there is no overlap and one group may be left disappointed due to changes in the market. If you would like to give me a call, I would appreciate the opportunity to chat this through with you. Kind regards, Malcolm White
