We have just the one property which we let out using Belvoir to handle any and all issues. They have now dealt with us for quite some years and have always proved most reliable. In earlier years, we were able to deal with some issues ourselves but this is no longer possible due to both time and distance. Their excellent service means our lack of involvement hasn't been a problem and often, their speed of response and access to responsible and reliable contractors has proved an advantage. Invoicing, collection of fees and payments to ourselves has worked really well, as has selection and approval of new tenants, as and when change almost inevitably occurs. In our very early years, we did have a couple of disastrous tenants but, with Belvoir, their regular property inspections and the resultant excellent reports and informative photos plus ensuring that all necessary servicing, legally required periodic checks etc are and have been carried out has meant any issues which have arisen have been dealt with as efficiently as possible, so as to minimise disruption to our tenants. Nothing is 'cheap' these days and ensuring that any necessary repairs and maintenance are done well, saves in the long run.
