I have been with Belvoir, as a landlady, for 10 years,now.My experience has been such that I cannot imagine why a Landlord/landlady would wish to choose another letting agent in Rugby. After some 7 years of letting in London, with all the challenges this brings, I sold up and moved to Rugby.With the intention of letting properties, I drew up a list of questions based on my experiences, and Belvoir were the only agent to meet this criteria. The agency has not disappointed. I have 3 houses with long term, seemingly content tenants. They have maintained their homes to a high standard (one a bit blokish but still very good). I have spoken to two of the tenants, when visiting with British Gas for an insulation survey,and they have told me that they feel very relaxed contacting Wendy with any problems,knowing that they will be resolved promptly. Wendy inspects regularly and produces an inspection report with photos of all rooms and outside areas.(It is like a window into your property).She mentions any small jobs, and also things to consider for the future. I am in favour of this because I think forward planning is important. Rosie makes certain that the rents are paid on time, invoices are prompt and accounts are accurate. There is also opportunity to take up their managed Buildings and Tenant default insurance at reasonable premiums Tradespeople,who work for them regularly, produce quality work at competitive prices. Indeed one regular has told me that Belvoir is a good agent to work for. Not every agent is so stress free.
