Dreadful company! - left a rental property in January and still my tenancy deposit is unpaid!! I have chased every month to get things sorted. Having to go legal to get it back. Sophie Wesley is to be avoided. Disgraceful organisation who treat tenants appallingly! Only selected 1 star because the review will not post otherwise...

Mr Adam's deposit is registered with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS). He is disputing the findings of his checkout report and refuses to allow the DPS to arbitrate, hence the delay in resolution. Not supportive. Unhelpful. Promising to call back but doesn't. Having to take legal advice for all the severe stress caused. Evidently they dont give deposits back very often others having to take legal action. DO NOT RENT THROUGH COUNTRY PROPERTIES

If you are their customer, they will be nice and talk to you. If you are at the end of your contract with them, their staff will simply ignore your requests. Will not recommend it to anyone.

This is true we have been ignored after our tenancy finished, no feed back from exit check over, slow to even start process of returning £1900 deposit, still not received any feed back after 22 days of having completed check out. Disgraceful attitude, I have had to chase and chase and still no messages back. I had to start the process with the company used to hold the deposit but this takes a month before they pay it out. I would never rent through this agency. Very slow to get issues resolved in the flat to a point we had to with hold rent to get repairs carried out and start a process of complaints against the agency. We had enough and now purchased a property and would never go back to renting through this agency.
