PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. I have been using Northwood Romford / Brentwood for a couple of years and was introduced to them by a family member who also uses them. Earlier this year I decided to set up a property company buying a large number of flats. Whilst my experience with northwood before that date was good it wasn’t until I started dealing with them daily that I realised just how good they are. They are all very proactive and always provide solutions not problems. Of course as a landlord you have to make some decisions but their experience and know how makes it effortless. This means as an investor you can get on with being just that. Your don’t need to get caught up in the day to day admin - which can be very time consuming. Also one thing I should also mention. The flats I have bought had a mixture of existing tenants with another agent. In contrast the other agent who has a national presence and I would say is many time bigger than Northwood - is a complete joke. They do not offer rent guarantee. I can’t paid my rent in drips and drabs. Tenants don’t call the agent because the agent is so unresponsive - so they call me instead. They are withholding rents. Their central account team is a mess. Even the regional manager can’t resolve issues effectively. I am outstanding rent payments from early January because they made the mistake of paying to previous landlord. So on contrast I simply could not do what I do without Northwood. I get my rent every month on a set day - even if they don’t rent it out. And in times of extreme panic like what we experience today it really does give me complete piece of mind. On one hand I don’t want to tell everyone my secret to running a successful property business but in this case I really have to because I’m so pleased. Thank you all at Northwood.
