I wish there was a zero star option! Worst experience with Winkworth Reading, their compensation amount after end of tenancy of 6 months was around 22% of my deposit which was unfair as they included compensation for the items that were included in my check in report (before tenancy) and some cracks they mentioned in check out report for which they were unable to provide pictures. I damaged their paper lamp which was £10 and asked £20 for it. Similarly for one bulb fused they asked £5 each and the list goes on. I wasted a lot of time explaining them with evidences that these amounts are unfair still they never responded and were eager to deduct as much amount as they can from my deposit. Its been 4 months now they have held my deposit and are not responding to my emails. I can see all good reviews are for start of tenancy.
