I have just rented a property through Prospect Reading and have found them extremely helpful throughout. I ran into an unusual obstacle with referencing caused by incompatibility between my bank and the referencing company Goodlord. This was quite stressful and I was worried about losing the property, but the agents at Prospect reassured me throughout my many frantic phone calls, and moreover were proactive in chasing a solution on their end. The whole process was made a lot easier by contact with staff who seemed to genuinely appreciate the position of tenants trying to secure a new property, and displayed both initiative and interest. Whenever I had a query or wanted an update it was very easy to get in contact, and everyone at the agency knew who I was, not just the agents overseeing my file. Everyone had a very welcoming manner that was just the right balance of professional and personal. To be quite honest I was really pleasantly surprised to have this experience with a letting agency. I would definitely recommend Prospect as they have acted as proper mediators and not just (as I have experienced in the past) impersonal representatives of the landlord. Good Experience working with Prospect. We bought and sold our house with them and both the process was super efficient just like all of their staff. I would like to special mention Michael Sharp and Aimee Smith who were dealing with our case and they are really nice people. They always made sure that we are aware of each and every step of the process and things are moving forward at good speed.
