I have just rented a property through Prospect Reading and have found them extremely helpful throughout. I ran into an unusual obstacle with referencing caused by incompatibility between my bank and the referencing company Goodlord. This was quite stressful and I was worried about losing the property, but the agents at Prospect reassured me throughout my many frantic phone calls, and moreover were proactive in chasing a solution on their end. The whole process was made a lot easier by contact with staff who seemed to genuinely appreciate the position of tenants trying to secure a new property, and displayed both initiative and interest. Whenever I had a query or wanted an update it was very easy to get in contact, and everyone at the agency knew who I was, not just the agents overseeing my file. Everyone had a very welcoming manner that was just the right balance of professional and personal. To be quite honest I was really pleasantly surprised to have this experience with a letting agency. I would definitely recommend Prospect as they have acted as proper mediators and not just (as I have experienced in the past) impersonal representatives of the landlord.
