This is the worst experience from a supposed professional organisation we have dealt with. Please avoid them to maintain your sanity and well being! We rented a place off them where we were told there was access entry keys for 2 people. When we agreed tenancy and signed up, we only received one and were told the landlord can’t find the other one and is unwilling to get another one ordered as there is only meant to be one person who parks within the development, not exactly what was highlighted or marketed by Prospect when they were advertising. Over time we experienced issues with the heating, the boiler would not turn on or function when the thermostat was turned on, over the course of 3 weeks nothing was done by Prospect and it caused my wife to fall ill and exacerbate her asthma. They still have not sorted anything out, as they say they struggle to speak to the landlord if we decide to withdraw a rental payment, they are quickly on the phone asking when it will be paid as the landlord is concerned?? To this date nothing has been rectified they have not even come forward with a solution or offer based on our experienced even though this has been escalated internally to senior management (surprise surprise they have not responded to our letters). On this basis we are now seeking assistance from third party Citizens advice as well as making a formal complaint to Property Ombudsmen. If you are thinking of renting a property managed by Prospect, please think again, I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and incompetent company as them from the director of letting Mark Towell right down to the lettings negotiator!
