Many vendors have the same concern about the famed mailing lists that local agencies hold, but the truth is any self respecting buyer will not rely solely on an agent to give them a call if a property has come on the market. Buyers now have free access to the largest sources of property out there, Rightmove and Zoopla. Why would any buyer walk into an Estate Agency office only to be hard sold mortgages and extra products when all they wanted to do is view? Buyers simply find the property they are interested in then contact whichever agency that property is on the market with, so the real skill here is to present the property in the best possible light leaving the buyer to make an informed decision.
