Prior to launching the Putney brand of EweMove, I enjoyed a previous career as an international civil servant, working for eight years at the United Nations and subsequently the International Coffee Organization here in London, leaving me with an abiding interest in international affairs and, of course, coffee! Originally from Scunthorpe, I left to study Modern Languages in Newcastle upon Tyne and later in Konstanz, Germany. My first proper job was with the UN in New York, and subsequently London. During a year spent working in Paris as a translator/copywriter I met Fabienne to whom I've been married for 23 years and have a son, Rufus, who is currently studying 'History & Politics' at university in Wales. I have a decades-long interest and involvement in property and launched EweMove Putney in April 2016, the fulfilment of a longstanding ambition! A fair percentage of clients that I have dealt with over the past six years - sellers, buyers and sometimes even their solicitors - have actually told me that I'm the best Estate Agent that they have encountered, which is very gratifying. The main reasons they give are: (i) I'm completely open and transparent at all times; (ii) I'm well informed and fully committed; (iii) I'm an excellent communicator and keep clients constantly informed on developments; (iv) I use my communication skills to negotiate on clients' behalf and to deal with any issues that arise in steering the transaction to a successful conclusion.
