You really are under no obligation to explain your frustration, suffice to say, that then makes it impossible for me to either assess the credibility of what you are reporting or more importantly work to address the issue. I would recommend nobody go with them, they kick you out when you ask for help and bin all your belonging even when they say they keep it safe for you, terrible landlord wonld not go there they lie to your face

Went to make a counter offer on a flat called sea view terrace. To be sent an email from Emma on how morally wrong it was and how she disagrees. She's lost you an extra 8K. Certainly wouldn't be using this company if I wanted to maximise my profits..... Unprofessional.

Hi Louis, This property had a sale agreed with solicitors instructed and searches applied for. We had already received instruction from the vendors to reject any further offers, but let them know of your interest regardless. They were extremely happy to proceed with the current sale. I'm not sure of the wisdom of any moral preaching that may have occurred from our side, suffice to say, gazumping is not a practice that we encourage. Upon leaving the property earlier this year, Martin and co were very poor with communications, often leaving days for important information to be passed on. Emails would often be sent to us with 10 minutues to reply before the office closed, meaning getting any new information required waiting until the next day. When we was preparing to leave the property, they pushed to have viewings with little notice, and then then on the day on the veiwing the agent had turned up an hour early, and despite us requesting over the phone to be present for the viewing, being an hour early we was not in yet and they had let themselves into our flat.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

I know that our Head of Property Management worked hard to try to support you with the difficulties during the tenancy that you faced and that you were also released from tenancy early without having to pay the last month's rent. Your landlady apologised sincerely for the difficulties that you experienced and we are all disappointed that the issues of damp in the property adversely impacted on your tenancy. Having used Executive Lets for over a decade to rent properties we have been thoroughly let down by Martin & Co on a number of occasions since they took over Executive Lets in 2017. The Plymouth office manager Chris Whittaker has been rude and aggressive in response to a major complaint and has refused to take any responsibility for their failures or offer any apology. Their failures cost us several thousand pounds and they are still chasing us for £190 from 2019 when we moved our business elsewhere. Worst service I got in my life is coming from Martin & Co. So unprofessional team is very rare to find. Every time I had to call them to fix certain things from my flat I was told that to call later or, someone will call me later, and guess what? Nobody called me back ever. When I had to first move to Radiant house, I have been told that I can move in on 1st of the month, I have moved out from the old flat, and, and, surprise: one day before I got a phone call and I've been informed that I can't move in next day, and I could move in on 14 the if the month. Cost me lots of money to stay in a hotel for two weeks. Talking about Radiant House, was saying that there is an elevator. There is one, LoL, but was out of order at leat 7 days a month, and I got stucked in to many times. Rats. There was a rat infestation as well when I lived there, call them, nothing happened. I'm just disgusted of you Martin &Co. JUST AVOID THIS GUYS! I would gave you 0 stars, but google doesn't have this option. We booked 3 viewings and travelled 6 hours to visit the properties. Upon arriving to Plymouth (within 24hours of the viewings) they were all cancelled for various reasons. I was not made aware prior to my trip that cancellations for such reasons may occur. This resulted in the trip to Plymouth being a waste of time. Unfortunately I would not recommend their service.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Dear Fraz, We understand how frustrating it must be as a potential tenant to travel great distance only to discover that the properties that you planned to view have already had tenants accepted on them. This is why we called you the evening before two of the three viewings to let you know that they could not proceed. We called again on the morning of your third viewing to let you know that the current tenant was unwell and had understandably denied access. The lettings team have subsequently worked incredibly hard to secure viewings on other properties that may be of potential interest to you and hopefully we can line something up for you that works. I'm afraid that both the lettings and sales markets have moved extremely quickly over the course of the last couple of months and I know of no system that precludes the requirement to cancel viewings where a property is no longer available.
