They manage a flat in our building and it is currently being renovated. We have had nothing but trouble with their contractors and the general management of the renovation process. Contractors smoke heavily in the flat (side note: this flat must be uninhabitable to any non-smoker after they are done), leaving main flat door open and letting smoke escape into common areas and common vents. The entire close has been smelling of smoke for the past weeks and smoke has also creeped into other flats. We have approached the contractors twice and nothing has improved. They also had some carbon monoxide issues (according to the contractors there was an issue with the very old boiler in the flat) with the alarm going off for two days straight (including at night). The contractors have now removed the alarm to 'fix the issue' (very concerning not to have an alarm especially when there seems to be an issue with the boiler). Yesterday, I finally had enough and called Belvoir to speak to Gillian who manages this property. She seemed very annoyed by my call, no apology, nothing. She said she would speak to the contractors (not very convincingly though). Nothing has changed so far. Very unhappy with how Belvoir is handling this and will have no option but to raise this with environmental health.
