Collecting Rent from Tenant on the behalf of Landlords

This agent collects the rent from tenants on the 27th of each month on the understanding that it would be clear funds by the 1st of the next month. Rent payment to the landlord is not until the 25th of the month. This means that the agent banks your rent for almost a full month and makes interest from your money to run their business as well as getting a fee from you. The landlord payments even then are mostly paid later than the 25th and often not until the agent is chased regarding the whereabouts of the landlord's rent.. We often ended up paying overdraft fees because of the month's wait for our rent and the late payments. I would not recommend this agent to anyone trying to live off the rental income of a property as you never know when you are going to be paid the rent.
