We were dealing with an associate who never informed us that the property we were looking into had already accepted a tenant. They lead us to believe it was still available, presumably so we could play the role as back ups. Offered to pay a holding deposit and they just told us the ways it wasn’t possible to pay rather than facilitating the transaction. Only after chasing him did we find out our property had been taken which he had been extremely reticent about, then he in a very nonchalant manner tried to move on to discuss other properties without apologising.
