I have let my properties through Martin & Co for a year now. My experience has been really excellent - the manager I am dealing with is very proactive and competent. Communication (telephone and emails) is swift and always followed-up. This is important to me as I am not always in the UK. All issues are being dealt with by Martin & Co in an efficient and courteous manner. By far the best letting agent experience I had to date. Happy customer.

Martin & Co have always found tenants for me quickly and with minimal voids. The tenants have never caused any problems and have always paid on time, I put this down to the thorough reference process Martin & Co adopt and the fact that they have given me their honest opinion when putting forwards applicants details. Although I didn't find a flat rental with Martin & Co. that would suit the timeframe in which I'd be living in Oxford, I nevertheless wanted to commend their excellent customer service and my very positive experience with their lettings manager Abi Rosser. Abi was consistently in touch with numerous potential rental options, quick to respond when I'd email her with any questions that I had, and always knowledgeable, communicative, and friendly.

I just rent a property with Martin & Co in Oxford. The branch is fine, just it seems to me that they do not have enough staff in the busiest time. They might not check your emails, and you really need to call them again and again to get things sorted. Fortunately, the staff who dealt with my tenancy are professional and nice. Conor helped me with putting an offer and contacting the landlord, and Abi helped me with the referencing and the following steps. Both of them are very responsive, efficient and friendly, which made the process easier and less pressured. Special thanks to Abi, who resolved the issue I encountered with the referencing company immediately when I called her -- Goodlord is not very professional and some of the staff need to improve their common sense, I have to say, compared with my previous experience with another letting agency.

This is a great agency with affordable good quality properties for rent. However, they could be more on top of their game by communicating better with each other as tenancy stages progress. The transition process from booking through to routine property management runs like a fairly smooth well-oiled machine. And the whole process (apart from handing over the keys) can be done remotely on a mobile phone. The people who work there are polite, professional and well grounded and that is surely the key ingredient to the success of the agency.
