Landlord Review Complete INCOMPETENCE from the outset. In my many years as a landlord I have not experienced anything like the level of ineptitude I faced with Edinburgh Letting Centre. I had the misfortune of dealing with Miles (who owns the company). It was a poor experience from the outset: *Photos taken by Miles of the flat had limbs and shadows of people in them, and were of poor quality. *The process was not explained at all. *I had to chase constantly for answers, and only half were answered. *Documents were SLOW to arrive. *Documents/contracts contained errors. I have decided to find an alternative agent, rather than proceed. They may be cheap, but you if you pay peanuts .... I applied for a position and was given a zoom interview. I don't use Zoom but I thought I would open an account. I did so and I Logged into Zoom. I haven't used Zoom so I waited till I found there was an issue and tried to call but there was no response. I mailed Daniel that that there was a problem. I called the shop. I asked for a reschedule . Daniel once he replied was rude and dismissive suggesting I had not been there regardless to the fact I clearly tried. If Daniel a reflection of the company attitude to unforseen problems arising I'm glad to be dismissed so easily. I was not late as Daniel suggests I logged into my account on time. He rudley ignores any technical issues and that I made contact with the office and himself. A rude man who only offers a comment once his attitude is brought to the public's attention. Started off with a good relationship with the agency and then during winter of 2018 for a whole month our boiler was broken and we were without hot water or heating for one of the coldest winters recorded in Scotland in recent years. By law, agencies are required to fix issues as severe as this within days according to the Landlord and Tenant act (1985). When we sought after compensation (just 3/4 of the rent for the affected month) after the fact we were led on for months and months and ultimately ignored, even when we asked to speak to landlord directly about it. Terrible attitude and certainly played around the law in regards to living conditions for tenants. Disappointing as neighbours told us what an improvement we were on the previous tenants, a shame the agency wouldn't want to keep good tenants in their properties.

Note of Complaint. I booked a viewing for a property with Claudia for today at 09/01/2019. I asked Claudia when the applications would be processed for the property, to which she assured me several times that no applications would be processed until the end of this week (10/01/2020). My

My partner and I both took time off work to view this property, but 2 hours before our viewing we are sent a cancellation text. I phoned Claudia up immediately after the text for an explanation; surely this text must have been sent in error... Claudia informs me "We got a good application and we decided to process it -- This is the way we work" Well, Claudia & co... the way your company works is totally DISRESPECTFUL, DISHONEST and SHAMEFUL!!
