I’d like to thank the team at Nicholas Humphreys in Norwich for completely changing my definition of inept. I had low expectations of student letting agencies anyway but was surprised to see that the guys in the Norwich office managed to lower my expectations even further. They truly raised the bar to a new standard in terms of disappointing treatment of tenants. After a rodent infestation at our property Nicholas Humphreys were very reluctant to do almost anything, in fact we had to organise for pest control ourselves and as far as we are aware, the pest control team still haven’t been paid by the letting agency for multiple trips to the property. After venting my frustration in the form of leaving them a one star review on google, in a last ditch attempt to try to get their attention, I was actually contacted by the branch manager only to be informed that I had no right to leave them a review as I apparently wasn’t even one of their tenants, which seems to be their go to response when they have no other answers as you can see from this thread. Additionally trying to salvage any refund of a deposit has been a complete nightmare. I can only assume there is a small black hole that exists in the Dereham road office that exclusively pulls in tenants money and common sense because once it’s gone it seems very difficult to get anything back from them. If anyone can help the guys out there I feel like they’d really appreciate it because I think they’re struggling a little bit.
