I would not recommend this 'agent'. I have been a landlord for many, many years and made the decision that I would retire. I therefore decided to start looking for an agent to take over my portfolio and manage it for me. Being a landlord is stressful, especially with a portfolio of my size, and I simply do not want the hassle any longer. I contacted Martin & Co and received no response which was surprising, given the amount of business I was hoping to give them. Then, my friend's daughter also later contacted the office regarding a viewing for a property for herself and her boyfriend and the woman on the phone was indescribably rude to her for no reason at all. After learning of how rude the staff member was to my friend's daughter, I decided not to pursue Martin & Co in responding to my email and have chosen another agent who has proved to be more responsive, courteous and professional. If this is the way Martin & Co deal with prospective customers and tenants, I would not touch them with a barge pole.
