Maintenance issue
I had an ongoing problem with my heating and hot water, which was very frustrating, especially with the weather getting very cold. I had to have multiple contractors out to problem solve and sort the issue on numerous occasions across a number of weeks. Laura Cheetham of Northwood Tyneside was brilliant throughout...she was patient and listened when I was frustrated at the situation, she continually updated me via email and voicemail (even after office hours on a Saturday!), she was tireless in chasing up contractors and arranging visits, liaised efficiently with my landlord to get decisions made quickly, and overall was lovely to talk to through what turned out to be quite a complex issue. I work full-time in a demanding job and Laura ensured everyone worked round this for me. She was also very genuine and I trusted her to move the situation forward as she clearly wanted to help resolve the issue not just as quickly as possible but correctly to avoid future problems. An asset to your company I cannot thank her enough as I sit in my now warm and cosy flat with hot water aplenty.

Great service
The agents were great at getting back to us and resolved any issues quickly. They acted fairly towards both us as buyers and the vendors. They were very friendly and supported us at every stage we needed them to..

Rental property in West Denton
The entire team were incredibly helpful and friendly from the first viewing to the check in, When a moving date had to be changed at short notice the staff were understanding and patient. I have dealt with various estate agents across the country, but Northwood Newcastle have really excelled in terms of customer service and professionalism.

Recent move
I have been very impressed by the efficiency and courtesy shown by the agency. From my first visit to the property I have been very well looked after by Sara and in particular Julia who was prepared to come in on her day off to do the handover. Nothing has been too much trouble and I have been impressed by the whole process. Including the very detailed accurate inventory.

High level of service with successful purchase
Throughout the process of buying my first home Northwood were very good at helping make things straightforward. Their friendly, service-with-a-smile attitude made them very approachable. The sale nearly fell through as it did drag on, however this was more the fault of the seller than the estate agents, who worked hard to contact him as best they could. My contact there was Victoria Skoyles, who was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to queries, with a very personal and understanding attitude. She did a great job of keeping my informed of what the next step of the process was, understanding that I was a first time buyer and unsure of how it all worked. Many thanks.

A Great Viewing Experience
Wendy was on time and gave us such a friendly greeting. She knew lots about the house and showed us round to begin with before letting us wander about and ask questions. No question went unanswered and nothing seemed like too much trouble or like we were taking too much time like I have felt with some other estate agent firms. Wendy just seemed so professional and like she really wanted to sell the house, without being too pushy. I'd definitely want her selling my house and I wish I had wanted to buy the house she showed us.

Very professional and good at what she does!
I have just worked with Julia to let my property and Julia did a great job of finding a good tenant very quickly. She does a very thorough inventory and takes care of both landlord and tenant, providing us with a wealth of information on our roles. I would not hesitate to instruct Julia again.

So friendly, helpful and efficient
Victoria, Julia and Laura at Northwood have helped me find a buyer for my property (offer at this point) very quickly and efficiently. They have communicated effectively and really paid attention to my particular needs and requests. They have advised me from their professional knowledge of the market but never pressured me away from my own preferences. I would thoroughly recommend them as estate agents (have to say I have dealt with some useless and inefficient agnts in past transactions :) )..

Great communicaton. Responsive and very understanding
Julia has been absolutely fantastic in helping me rent a property. I was under a bit of time pressure as my current tenancy was about to end. She's been very quick with processing my application and always very good with responding. Scheduling a meeting to sign the final agreement went very smoothly as well and was nicely fitted around my schedule. Would recommend.
