Unfortunately, our experience with Martin & Co has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. When we moved into the property, it was not in a fit or acceptable condition. The house had not been properly cleaned, the flooring was dirty, belongings from previous tenants had been left behind, and there were broken toilet seats and a broken shower. These issues should have been addressed before new tenants were allowed to move in. More recently, we discovered that the property we are currently renting has been sold — something we were never informed of, despite being assured that we would be kept updated on any significant developments. Finding this out independently online was both shocking and distressing. When I contacted the office to query this, the member of staff I spoke to was abrupt, dismissive, and rude, and showed no empathy or willingness to apologise for the lack of communication or the upset caused. Overall, the standard of service, communication, and professionalism we have received has been very poor. I would not recommend Martin & Co based on our experience.
