Craig has a very strange way of running his business. We viewed a house with him and he spent the full 15 minutes telling us his life story. Normally estate agents like to get to know your requirements, your likes and dislikes, your situation. Not Craig his conversations and interests are all about him! We placed an offer on the house we viewed because it sold itself! Craig only got back to us a week later, after us trying to get hold of him and leaving messages, to say a higher offer had been accepted. Again very odd, if he had got back to us to tell us a higher offer was on the table we would have offered more but he didn't give us this opportunity. Not only has he lost his seller money, he has lost himself commission and has alienated us as potential buyers on other properties on his portfolio!!

Tara, Thank you for your comments although I’m sorry that you felt this way. Unfortunately I’m not able to change my personality however I understand we are all different. You had first visited the property on Thursday 2nd February at 5pm and it was being marketed for offers in Excess of £299,995. You told me you were waiting to put your property on the market then made an offer of £280,000 which had been rejected by the sellers as there were additional buyers that could proceed and I mentioned that the offer was still lower than current offers on the table. I then received a text from your partner with an increased offer on Tuesday 7th which was again still lower than offers that had already been submitted by other interested buyers, however I made the owner aware of the revised offer. As we had received several offers on this house before yours and this was said in the conversation, including one from an investor, a buyer in rented and a first time buyer that were all higher than the offer you submitted. I took instructions from our vendor to go back to the buyers that were able to move and we asked for their best and final offers as a decision had to be made so not to lose the buyers that were able to move. I was not available yesterday Thursday 9th February for part of the day due personal matters and it was not until Friday 10th February that the owners actually came back to me to advise me that they wanted to take the highest offer from the first time buyers. I then contacted your partner this afternoon to update him regarding the acceptance of another offer. We are obliged to submit all offers clients until exchange of contracts unless they wish not to receive any more offers. So if you would to increase when you have a buyer then please let me know. In the meantime I wish you all the best in selling your home. Kind regards Craig Kelly

Tried to make me increase my offer two months into buying process. Owner accepted my offer and I was two months into the process, mortgage applied for, my valuation survey was scheduled and on the same day I received a call from Craig to say the owner has now accepted a higher offer and will not sell to me anymore... I then had to cancel my application and survey to which Craig calls me again a few hours later to say the owner is willing to sell to me again if I give a higher offer??? i told him no and left it. Months later I've gone to check how much the house was sold for and guess what... it was sold for exactly the same as I was offering!!! Don't waste your time buying a house from this guy.

You are misleading possible customer. A member of staff called Craig rated 5 star. The service you provide is most certainly NOT 5 star. If the 5 stars was to rate it a "great place to work" then state that. Taking the "Lad" approach may be your idea of friendly customer service. But its not. Its very insulting and makes your staff look unprofessional. Questioning customers integrity and using swear words over the phone is not how to gain customers nor a good reputation. To your reply, if the review was an “Error” why was it not removed 8 months ago? An Error is a spelling mistake. Jen is not my name. I will not be giving my real name. People should be warned about the service you give without my personal information being given. It has nothing to do with my review

Jen, Thank you for your message. I have checked our database and we have not spoken with or dealt with a Jen recently, so if Could you please tell me when this occurred as I would be more than happy to look in to it for you. As all our calls are recorded I can go through and review it.

Appalling service from this estate agents, very rude and arrogant when trying to arrange viewings. I would avoid them at all costs!

Reply from agent

I'm sorry you are unhappy with our service and rather shocked that you felt we were rude with you when trying to book a viewing. You contacted myself and asked to view although you had limited days that you could view the property. The house you enquired about had a family who were living there and had an unwell child and were not available for viewings, however I did ask if we could view as soon as possible as you were having to leave your existing property in a few weeks. We managed to secure an appointment the next day on the 14th September at 9am. When I met you and your friend at the property concerned you were told there was an offer and you were asked to email your offer with the following information; how long you wanted the property for, when you could move and details of the other prospective tenants and incomes as there were already offers on the property and the landlord would want to know prior to making any decision. We never received your email and We never heard back from you until you sent me a rude text. We always aim to do our best, in this case we obviously did not in your opinion and for that I'm sorry. I must point out I was never rude to you as you claimed.
