The previous agents I used were very poorly organised so I switched to SLCA. I have used them for over 10 years and they have been excellent in every way. They are efficient and organised, and nothing seems too much to ask. I would highly recommend them.

My husband and I rented a cottage via SLCA for four years and found them to be excellent. Our privacy was always respected and queries and maintenance issues were dealt with swiftly. Apart from being extremely professional, the staff were friendly and personable: we enjoyed Lesley's inspection visits as a chance to have a coffee and catch up.

I used SLCA as Letting Agents for around six years and always found them to be most helpful in respect of regular property inspections, and more importantly paying rental payments promptly. They also have a good set of subcontractors who can be trusted to undertake any necessary remedial works. More recently I have used SLCA to sell a property. It was not the easiest property to sell due to its location however SLCA persevered until it was sold. I would have no hesitation in recommending SLCA as either Letting Agents or Estate Agents.

Lesley and her team at SLCA have acted for the past two years as property managers and Landlord agents for the house I rented on a short term assured let in Marlborough. They could not have given better service. They were always polite, professional and efficient and were prompt to respond if ever I needed to have contact with them or to request attention to the property. They were also always a pleasure to deal as was anyone from their extensive team of skilled service contractors who visited to make repairs or service the property. Lesley was fair and reasonable always. I would not hesitate to return to SLCA if ever I needed to rent a property again through an agent and, in my experience, Lesley and her team are the best agents in the High Street.

I was wholly dissatisfied with the previous agents who handled our three properties, so I dismissed them and asked SLCA to handle everything. From the outset they have handled our business with total professional competence and success. No problem has deflected them, and I have total confidence in their services now and into the future. I would recommend them with utmost hand-on-heart sincerity. They are simply marvellous.

I let a property through SLCA for many years, and although it is too soon to review McFarlane (who have taken them over), I was more than satisfied with their service. They seem to strike the right balance between the interests of the tenant and the landlord (although I can remember no occasion where these differed). I have dealt with Jacqueline Marchant-Currie for some years and she has always been professional, efficient, helpful and friendly.

I rented a property in Marlborough for a couple of years, moving away a year ago, and was very happy with the service provided, and was delighted to find that a property that I have just moved back into was also managed by them. Jacquie is brilliant, and a really lovely person, and is able to combine professionalism with personability. The only challenge that I experienced was when I tried to pay my rent and deposit using a credit card and was not able to. It would have been much easier for me if I could have used a credit card to mitigate the time between paying, and when I received my previous deposit. Other than that, all very good and thoroughly recommended!
