If I may just address your concerns, It took us a week to find yourself a buyer and just over 7 weeks to exchange and complete on the sale, which is good going bearing in mind its taking around 12-14 weeks currently. The sale exchanged and completed on the same day and therefore the new owner was legally allowed to enter the property. However, I understand this wasn’t the case and you wouldn’t allow the new owner to take possession of his property. It was agreed that the new owner was going to help you clear your last belongings inside after completion, however this wasn’t the case and he was greeted by all of your possessions still in-tact. With regards to losing some of your family history, you will have to take this up with him I’m afraid. Miles & Barr can’t take any responsibility for this.
