Recommended by a friend who works for a large house builder to speak to Newton Fallowell as they sell properties through them. I had four valuations done in total before committing to a estate agent. We pondered using another company but, when they quoted nearly five thousand pounds we went elsewhere and great news...they sold our property the week before Christmas! Glad we used them.
Having sold my house with Jordan and his team at Newton Fallowell Mansfield, i can honestly say they were great from start to finish! Very helpful, approachable and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend giving these guys a try
Avoid these rookie lazy staff members. Wasted my time with a tenant and under managed their expectations for certs then blamed me on them pulling out. Now certs are done no phone calls to say more interest in property, very simple to pick the phone up and ask for keys back. Poor communication in very simple circumstances. You guys are so lazy it's unreal. You're nothing but door openers that dress fancy. You have no other skill set. What a useless bunch you are. You need to learn to take accountability for your own mistakes. You have wasted my time and money in the process. You know you have been useless throughout which is why you have come up with the BS. Now they decide to withdraw my property because they know they are useless. Shame on you and your business. You need to go brush up on your skills or find another job that makes you happy as you seem to lack enthusiasm. Typical estate agent that's full of themselves. Good for opening front doors and that's about it.
Worst worst worst service I have come across , They are sales and letting agents but no patience and manners at all twice hang up the call . Not trained at all to give better customer service very very rude .
Just a heads up to check sinks, toilets, built in appliances. The state of the toilets - seats yellow and encrusted with urine calcium, brown sludge in the pan. That's 3 separate toilets btw. The sinks, blocked and don't drain. The built in appliances absolutely revolting. Grease, mould and a harvest festival in the dishwasher. Black sludge in the washing machine. The fridge and freezer could have provided a meal for 2, they were that grotty. Don't pay asking price, until you know you aren't going to be majorly out of pocket - a day after getting the keys. Irony being the house hadn't been stood empty, people actually left it this way. Timescales and communication are also a thing. But I'll let someone else go there. If the seller is a personal friend (as there are 3 reviews from her) then I don't expect a reasonable response. The actual buyer is still waiting for a courtesy call from Jordan!!!!
Do not rent from these, All the 5* reviews are from people who sold their properties for overpriced figures, course they're going to be happy. - If you're a renter this applies to you. If I could give a lower rating I would. I was renting a property since Nov 2019, I had complained about one window in the master bedroom since the viewing that there was a high volume of noise coming through and wind, as the panel was broken and wouldn't shut properly, this came under a concern to environmental health, you could smell the traffic and even hear customers order their pizza from dominoes across the road. I was informed this would be fixed on the day of viewing verbally by a man called Jordan. 3 years on, taking my money, hundreds of e-mails later, nothing was done and that room had to be abandoned, so in other words I rented a 1 bedroom for the price of 2. I was led on by false hopes, saying "windows are ready we are sending someone" and nobody ever turned up. It was all a lie. The shower didn't work for 3 years either, the water pressure was not right and nobody ever looked into it for me, cold showers for 3 years? Just before Christmas this year going into 2023 a day after paying that months rent I received an unexpected notice to leave within 2 months, no answer to any reason why. They didn't pay the remaining deposit and added unauthorised charges onto the account claiming for "damages in the house" which certainly is not comparable to the poor windows. The most hilarious thing is, I drive past the house and the windows were installed 1 month after I left. Why was this not sorted for 3 years? The landlord turned up to the property demanding rent for the last month (which I let them take £525 out of the £605 deposit anyway) he snatched my mothers phone out her hand and demanded my telephone number and kept calling me from withheld and harassing me and my family while they were trying to help me move my stuff. - I was harassed by constant quarterly visits that were targeted just to me, this was evident as I knew another tenant renting from these people. - landlord refused to put his issues in writing knowing that I could take that to the tribunal. Landlord Mike Cokrill, Property 50 Leeming lane south. Do not rent from these people no matter how desperate you are, you will get ripped off and ignored as long as they take your money. Now sit back and read the snide and unprofessional response I get followed by many others in the past. Poorly managed organisation.
