I have listened to the call recording this morning and note when you called back the lettings team were on another call, unfortunately at times it can get busy in the office but, we do apologise for this. Regarding, your experience I feel the questions my team asked you couldn't answer and it is a requirement of the bookings process and all of our landlords would not allow a viewing unless you could answer all of the required for your friend i.e credit score, pets, how many people will live in the property and work.
