Had a terrible experience with this business several years ago. We rented a property only to find out part way through the tenancy that the landlord hadn’t been paying the mortgage (which wasn’t BTL) and we had to leave before the tenancy ran out as the property was in the process of being repossessed, when I challenged why they hadn’t carried out even the most basic of checks on the landlord I was told nothing to do with me. Northwood completely washed their hands of the situation and refused to even refund any of our fees even though the Director Ewan agreed to do so. No integrity whatsoever.
