I cannot recommend Amy Goulding enough and all the people working there, Tony, Emma, Josh, Samantha, Alfie from STOW BROTHERS estate agency ! I want to concentrate on Amy as she was the person to deal with my file and from beginning to end, she was an absolute star and made the stressful process of buying house as smooth as possible. Amy went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and that we were completely comfortable with every step of the way. Her communication skills were exceptional, and she took the time to explain everything in detail, sometimes when my solicitor which I’ve paid a lot of money didn’t pick up the phone I was calling Amy and she get in contact with my solicitor and making sure we understood everything before proceeding. What really made the difference was the extra work that Amy put into helping us. She went out of her way to ensure we are in our comfort zone, even when she wasn't initially available (Friday she is off). When we encountered some issues during the process, she was there to help us every step of the way, offering advice and support. A lot of people said this process is so stressful but to be honest I didn’t find it like that as Amy was there for us anytime. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Amy and this estate agent to anyone who is looking for an stress-free and enjoyable house buying experience. She truly cannot do better! Stow helped my brother and I through a difficult sale; difficult in the sense that we were still in the final stages of probate and it was also an emotional decision whether to even sell the "family home". Ben was our first point of contact. He was spot on with his estimation of the sale price and helped us feel confident to start the process. We took a fairly hands off approach with Stow, and chose to trust their experience and professionalism. Amy was our day to day contact and she was fantastic. She kept us extremely well informed and was always very communicative and a pleasure to work with. There were a lot of hurdles to cross and Tony was great at explaining all the ins and outs and guiding us through the variables. It was very important to me that Stow didn't oversell or overpromise anything and they didn't. We were super happy with all aspects, from the brochure to the way they negotiated with potential buyers and and most importantly, the satisfaction that they (and we) had when they knew they had found the right fit with the new buyers. I love that Stow took pride in finding a family that will love and appreciate a house and garden that means a lot to my brother and I. I don't have a lot of experience buying and selling homes but I know for a fact I would do it again with Stow, as they made what could be a very fraught experience into a great one.
