Buckle up, it's a long review. But worth it! We met Tony when we viewed a property he was selling. We were immediately impressed by a few things: - the respect with which he treated the property he was selling and with which he spoke about the owners. This was mid covid and despite being immuno compromised, we felt safe and like we weren't putting anyone at risk. - the fact there was no hard sell. He took the time to discuss our needs and chatted honestly to us about how the property might or might not work for us. He had great ideas and personal accounts that were relevant and helpful - he has a calm, friendly approach and manner that is at complete odds with the traditional estate agent reputation. We felt completely comfortable with him. We booked an appointment to discuss him selling our two properties. He prepared documents in advance and we really liked the way he described the Agency ethos - the idea of not being just a number and a more personal approach. His prices were competitive as well so we asked him to help us sell. The estate agent part was the only part of the moving process that wasn't stressful. The highlights for us: Communication - moving is characterised by so many letters and so much paperwork and stress. We only heard from Tony when it was necessary, no pointless calls or emails. Such a contrast to the estate agent we bought from who seemed to send irrelevant emails on a daily basis. And yet in turn, we were able to message him at any time of day and get a timely, helpful response. This was so helpful for busy working mums. The paperwork was minimal and easy, all done online. Flexibility - we weren't restricted to traditional office hours. In contrast, we found that Tony was flexible with times and we worked around his hours and him around ours. Helped by awesome communication. Personal touch - he turned up on moving day and to our absolute shock, randomly just lent a hand with some tricky bits of furniture! We had a bout of covid the week before and were really struggling on the day. He couldn't have been more helpful on a day when it couldn't have been more appreciated. Similarly, he turned up on a weekend to help us fill in solicitor paperwork. Above and beyond what we'd expect and so helpful. He has a knack for reassurance and putting people at ease. Overall we honestly can't rate this company, and Tony in particular, highly enough. Five star experience.
