I am writing this review to share my experience with Wentworth Estate Agents. I found a property listed on RightMove on 07/06/24 and promptly contacted Wentworth to arrange a viewing. Due to my work commitments as a doctor, I was only available to view the property on 13/06/24. On the morning of the 13th, I received a call from Wentworth Estate Agents, which I could not answer as I was busy with patients. Shortly after, I received a text message stating that my viewing for later that day had been cancelled. Surprised, I contacted them to understand what had happened. I was informed that they had received six offers from previous viewings and had decided to take the property off the market. I spoke with Andy and expressed my disappointment, explaining that I was one of the first people to book a viewing. He seemed neither concerned nor apologetic, stating that this was the vendor's decision. I expected more from a reputable company, but it became clear that they are more interested in making quick sales than acting transparently and fairly. They should have honoured all the scheduled viewings before accepting offers. I requested to speak with the managing director and was told by Andy that he would pass my message along. However, over two weeks later, I am yet to hear back. I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with Wentworth Estate Agents.
